I like Lisa's work because I find the exaggerated body figures appealing, The figures are definitely familiar to me and recognizable, over exaggerated, sexualized features, and varied color. I also find their positions and actions funny to me.
The least favorite part of her work would be some of the settings of her work. The settings do not entice my appeal, as much as the figures do. I would like to see her figures in a different kind of setting.
I would like to use her technique of not just painting a female figure, but creating a sculpture of the female figures and using them as a still life, to help in making realistic shadows and create even curves for the figure. I have difficulty in creating figure that is not in front of me, and if I can not find a volunteer to help me, creating a sculpture would help me get what I want to get from the figure.
