Lady Aiko's art style is a hybrid of American contemporary art, including abstraction-ism, Pop art, graffiti, street art and with the Japanese aesthetic she was trained.
I like her art because it has amazing colors and good use of space in her work. The mixing of pop art and graffiti look amazing, creating images that recognizably says Japan. I also like the comic like characters she creates.
I would like to use her use of color and space because many of her works use uncommon colors, which easily flow into one another, While her use of space is amazing in my opinion to fill in the blank spots without making the image appear busy.
One thing I do not like about her artwork is the collages of real human figures because I do not think they convey her style very well.
