Caspar David Friedrich

April 6, 1826 - April 18, 1898
Friedrich is painter, most commonly known for his allegorical landscapes.

I like Friedrich's art as a fan of landscapes, and I also find it interesting many are in a vertical composition versus a horizontal composition. My only displeasure is how some images look very muted in color, and wished they were more vibrant.

What I can take from his work is composition, as they resemble the imagery I desire to have in my dystopian world, broken architecture among a large landscape.
